Upsilon Kappa Delta

Beta Chapter, CSU, San Diego:

The expansion of UKD to San Diego State University was made on April 24, 1998 by 10 beautiful ladies known as our founding mothers. Amongst the other three multicultural sororities on the campus of SDSU, Upsilon Kappa Delta is by far the most multicultural out of the bunch. With community service being one of the sororities’ pillars, we do a lot of volunteer work.  From volunteering on campus for events such as Aztec Nights, to picking up trash on the beach along with the Surfrider Foundation, volunteering is very important to us. Our philanthropy based organization of choice is Monarch School located near downtown San Diego and we are very excited to be working with the children attending the school. Sisterhood events we have done in the past include potlucks where sisters are paired up and make a dish for everyone to share, and hanging out by the pool enjoying each others’ company. We love to have fun, but we are also very dedicated to our studies. We are here for school, yet being a UKD is a perk!
